Connected is GDPR-first. This page explains the rights you have over your personal data and how to exercise them. Most actions are self-service from your account.
Access & portability — export your data
You can download a machine-readable (JSON) copy of your main personal data — profile, posts, comments, skills, publications, applications, messages you authored, profile sections, referral invites, and metadata for push subscriptions and verification requests.
Sign in, then open Settings → Download my data, or call the authenticated endpoint /api/account/export. The export never includes secret keys or identity/biometric data, which are held by our verification provider (Didit), not by Connected.
Rectification
Update your profile fields directly in Settings. For data you cannot edit yourself, contact us.
Erasure — delete your account
From Settings → Danger zone → Delete account we remove or anonymise your personal data, including push subscriptions, profile views, referral data, talent profile, applications, saved searches and templates. Identity/biometric data used for verification is held by Didit (not by Connected) and is retained by Didit for 6 months or deleted on request. Some records may be retained in anonymised form where required for security or legal reasons.
Restriction & objection
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including the reputational Authority Score profiling. Contact hello@get-connected.network and we will assess and respond.
Withdraw consent
Turn off push notifications in your browser/Settings at any time, and you are never required to complete Photo ID verification via Didit (LinkedIn and work-email methods exist).
Complaints
You can complain to your local data protection authority. Our lead supervisory authority is the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
